01 / A little context

Curious by nature,
careful by practice.

A product designer and creative technologist building at the meeting point of people, systems and possibility.

02 / ResumeA career, hot off the press

The short version,
printed neatly.

Product thinking, visual storytelling and a technical foundation— condensed into one page for desks, folders and pleasingly analogue moments.

03 / ApproachContext first. Then clarity, prototypes and proof.

I'm Naman — a London-based HCI designer with a Computer Science Engineering foundation.

I design and build digital products, interfaces and immersive AR experiences. My practice is grounded in research, accessibility and the realities of making: the constraints, edge cases and quiet details that make something work for a real person.

Across health, climate communication, spatial computing and independent creative work, I keep returning to the same question: how can technology feel more understandable, more useful and a little more human?

How I work

Listen.

Start with people, context and the questions beneath the brief.

04 / CareerExperience across product, culture and communication

A practice in
motion.

My path has moved from editing and visual storytelling into product design and HCI. Each chapter added a different way of noticing: the rhythm of a cut, the clarity of a system, the feeling of finding your way through a space.

05 / Study & venturesLearning by researching, making and sharing

From code
to context.

Studying HCI has given shape to an instinct I had early on: technology is never just the thing on the screen. It is the environment around it, the body using it, the language it speaks and the confidence it gives back.

2025 — 2026

MSc Human–Computer Interaction

University for the Creative Arts · UCA London

Research-led design, interaction, creative technology and making experiences tangible.

2019 — 2023

B.Tech Computer Science Engineering

Inderprastha Engineering College · AKTU

A technical foundation that still shapes how I think, prototype and collaborate with engineers.

01 / Spatial

AR Campus Wayfinding

An augmented-reality wayfinding prototype for the UCA Farnham campus, turning a real navigation problem into an interactive spatial experience.

02 / Independent

Cheesecake Studios

Founded a boutique studio for animated invitations, brand identity and digital content — including a growing regional-language Dogri reels audience.

03 / Community

UX/UI Workshop

Facilitated a UCA Film & Media Club workshop on Don Norman's design principles and created multi-platform campaigns for club events.

06 / PrinciplesA few things I keep close
01

Make space for nuance.

Good design is rarely a binary answer. It holds the contradiction long enough to learn from it.

02

Stay close to the real.

Ideas get better when they meet a person, a constraint, a body, a lived context.

03

Leave room for play.

Curiosity is a serious tool. It helps us imagine alternatives before we settle for defaults.
